Our adjustable martingale dog collars are perfect for leash training or for dogs that tend to slip or wriggle out of traditional dog collars easily. Like our regular collars, an Artful Canine Martingale Collar is fully adjustable, comfortable, durable, fashionable, and designed to last. We offer a slip-on style (pictured below), which slips over your dogs head, and then is adjusted down to fit your dogs neck. Measuring your dog for our martingale collars is easy. Simply measure the largest part of your dogs head or neck (whichever is bigger) and add at least 2" for the collar so that it will comfortably slip over your dogs head. Once on, you can adjust it down to fit snugly yet comfortably around your dogs neck.

Once you receive your martingale collar:

1. Adjust the collar it to it's largest size, working the nylon adjuster as far down as it will go

2. Slip the collar over your dog's nose and head. Once at the neck, adjust it down to a size that, with space for a finger or two for some wiggle room, comfortably fits your dog's neck.

3. Attach your leash to the martingale collar D-ring, and you are ready to go!
