All you need is a tape measure ...
Yes, it's pretty much as easy as 1-2-3 for our snap-on or martingale collars
For Our Snap-on Collars:
Measure the portion of your dogs neck where the collar will
naturally rest. Then add 3" or so, and that's the size collar you
should target when shopping. For example, if your dogs neck is 10 inches, you
should look for a collar of at least 13" so that you can size it
down to fit. If you have a puppy, go for at least 5" or more so that
the collar will last a while before you have to buy a new one! Once on your dog, make sure you can fit a couple of fingers in between
the dogs neck and the collar.
For Our Martingale Collars:
Measure the largest part of your dog's head, and add at least 2" so that the collar will slip over your dogs head easily. Since our martingales are fully adjustable, once the collar is on, you can size it down so that it rests comfortably around your dogs neck. The collar will tighen up when you attach the leash for control on walks and when in training.
